Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the porosity of a mat for soil stabilization for raising its water drainability by providing at least three or more ribs to each fiber of filament group constituting the mat or at least 10% of the fibers of filament group.
CONSTITUTION: Thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers containing 10% or more fibers with three or more ribs of such a size that it extends in the longitudinal direction of the fiber and its height (h) is 0.2W5.0 times the size (d) of the main portion of the fiber are irregularly laminated into a mat form.
