Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce production cost of parts and facilitate the positioning of a platen and a carriage, by providing the carriage in a rotatable position keeping a front guide shaft on the center, and also by providing a printing unit in a vertically rotatable position toward the carriage main body.
CONSTITUTION: As for positioning of a platen 26 and a carriage 32, back-and- forth adjustment is executed by turning an eccentric bearing 44 by means of a lever 45, deflecting a rear guide shaft 40 and deflecting the carriage 32 as a whole by turning it centering a front guide shaft 39. In other words, a printing type 35 and a hammer 33, etc. are adjusted in the front and rear directions of the platen 26 so as to cope with variation of thickness of paper being used. As to up-and-down adjustment with respect to the position of the platen 26, a printing unit 37 is turned and displaced center on a supporting point 48 by adjusting a screw 51, and the hammer 33, etc. which faces to the platen 26 is adjusted up and down with respect to the position of the platen 26.
