PURPOSE:To obtain stable regenerated pictures, by synchronizing driving signals of the arm feeding motor to vertical synchronizing signals and by terminating motor driving within the period of vertical blanking. CONSTITUTION:Vertical synchronizing signals are separated by giving regenerated signals obtained from a pickup 2 to a vertical synchronizing separator circuit 20. This signal is divided at a dividig circuit 13. Then, an optional divided output of the dividing circuit 13 is used as a driving signal to be used when a feeding motor 8 of an arm 5 is started. Therefore, this driving signal is synchronized to the vertical synchronizing signal, and the motor 8 is always stated from the vertical synchronizing signal. On the other hand, the divided output of the dividing circuit 13 is input into a time constant circuit 21 where the pulse width of the driving pulse is set to a range so that the width may be set within the period of the vertical blanking.
