CONSTITUTION:When an electrical signal is simultaneously applied to transducers 29, 30, 31, pressure waves generated in the third ink chamber 25 propagate through the second connecting passages 19, 20 into the second ink chambers 21, 22, and pressure waves generated in the first ink chambers 13, 14 propagate, on the one hand, toward ink discharge outlets 15, 16, and on the other hand, through the connecting passages 17, 18 into the second ink chambers 21, 22. The pressure waves passed through the first connecting passages 17, 18 and the pressure waves passed through the second connecting passages 19, 20 collide with each other to push back each other, so that the pressure waves generated in the first ink chambers 13, 14 are prevented from escaping toward the ink reservoir.
