Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a dialkyltin S,O- mercaptocarboxylate and a thiocarbamate with a resin containing chlorine, and having improved thermal stability to the heat storage at a high temperature for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: A composition containing (A) a resin containing chlorine, (B) a dialkyltin S,O-mercaptocarboxylate expressed by formula I (R1 and R2 are 1W8C alkyl; m is 1 or 2; n is an integer 1W100) and (C) a thiocarbamate expressed by formula II (R3 and R4 are 1W10C alkyl or aryl) at a weight ratio between the components (B) and (C) of 97:3W50:50. The amount of the components (B) and (C) is 0.5W8pts.wt., preferably 1.5W6pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. resin. The use of another stabilizer or stabilizing assistant further improves the thermal stability.
