Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce turbulence of a flow and separate out a gas only, by placing a gas taking-out pipe in parallel to a liquid-phase flow and a gas-phase flow.
CONSTITUTION: A cheese-shaped pipe joint 14 adapted for different diameters is used which has two opposite connecting ports of different diameters and one more connecting port. The smaller one of the opposite connecting port is used as a connecting port 16 for a gas pipe, while the larger one is used as a connecting port 15 for a gas-liquid two-phase pipe, with the remaining connecting port is used as a connecting port 17 for a liquid pipe, and the gas pipe 3 is inserted into a body part 20 of the different-diameter pipe through the connecting port 16. The gas 9 flowing in the central part of the gas-liquid pipe 1 reaches the end part 18 of the gas pipe 3 and is introduced into the pipe 3. On the other hand, the liquid flowing in the form of an annular flow along the wall of the pipe 1 enters a liquid taking-out part 19 similare in shape to the annular liquid flow ane it is discharged through the liquid pipe 2.
