Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure armature operation by providing a metal member for a heat sink to a position adjacent to the core of a wire driving type electromagnetic apparatus of a type head for a dot printer to radiate heat generated from a coil and a core outwardly. CONSTITUTION:To a center part of a circle encircled by cores 4 of an electromagnetic apparaus provided against plural armatures 14, a column like metal member 19 for a heat sink is provided so as to be adjacent to the core 4 and, in a gap S1 between the metal member 19 and each cores 4, a gap S2 between each cores and a gap S3 between each cores 4 and a yoke 2, a resin R with good heat conductivity is filled. With typewriting operation, heat generated in the coil 5 and the cores 4 is conducted to the metal member 9 and the yoke 2 through the resin R and, further, radiated outwardly from a heat sink member 20 having heat radiating fins 20a connected to and fixed on the metal member 19 and a second heat sink member 24 having heat radiating fins 24a.
