Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stable TV reception picture, by providing an amplitude limit circuit having the wide dynamic range enclosing amplitude distortion due to selective fading, with an amplitude distortion equalizing circuit receiving a TV video signal of frequency modulated. CONSTITUTION:A TV video signal in frequency modulation is transmitted with an FM spectrum like (a), but if a selective fading like (b) is generated in a radio circuit, it is subjected to a distortion like (c) and a horizontal synchronizing signal is attenuated like a'. The FM input like this is given to an input terminal IN as shown in Block Diagram and inputted to an FM demodulation circuit DEM via an amplitude limit circuit LIM having greater dynamic range and enclosing sufficiently the amplitude distortion. Thus, an FM spectrum is as shown in (a) to accomplish an amplitude distortion equalizing circuit without affected by the synchronizing distortion through the attenuation of a synchronizing signal. Further, the stable television reception picture is obtained, by connecting a low pass filter LPF rejecting the harmonics of the chrominance subcarrier.
