Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the resolving power of duplicated dot images by dividing the areas of the respective dots to be recorded, and recording the dots of the areas corresponding to the gradation change of the original picture to be duplicated in every sections.
CONSTITUTION: If the light beam from a light source 1 is deflected to a Y axis direction by changing the ultrasonic frequency to an acoustooptic element 2, a line image W moves in a linear direction. The length and position of the line image W are properly changed, and are exposed to a traveling photosensitive material, whereby dot images are recorded. In this way, the respective dots are divided to plural pieces of sections, and the dots are recorded based on the gradation change of the original picture to be duplicated corresponding to the respective sections. At this time, the original image signal levels X corresponding to the sections RR, R, L, LL of the dots are applied to address control circuits 11W14, and the outside contour data of the dots are readout from memoried 21W24, whereby prescribed data- operated 40 outputs are obtained and the controlling is accomplished.
