Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the individual travelling of a succeeding carriage by finding basic and correction torque from the distance between continuous 2 carriages and their relative speed and then finding acceleration/deceleration torque from these found values. CONSTITUTION:In a train system made up of many carriages without connection to each other to control the travelling of the leading carriage from a center and make a succeeding carriage travel individually while maintaining the distance between the leading and succeeding carriages, carriages 61 and 61e other than the leading carriage 61h are equipped with acceleration/deceleration controllers to control the torque of driving motors in the succeeding carriages 61 and 61e on the basis of the relative speed and the relative distance between these 2 carriages, find acceleration/deceleration torque to be generated in the succeeding carriages and control the travelling of succeeding carriages by the acceleration/deceleration torque. Thus, travelling is accurately controlled and highly focused response to the desirably maintained distance between carriages can be obtained.
