Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling off of graphite film from a screen so as to prevent the contrast reduction by treating the screen with an alkaline solution to swell the coated film and organic molecule bonding agents in luminous elements and then with an oxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A substandard luminous screen is wetted with 4wt% sodium hydroxde aqueous solution for one minute, and an oxidizing solution is sprayed with a hydraulic pressure of 0.5kg/cm<2> to remove coated film 5, green 2, blue 3, and red luminous elements 4 except only graphite film 6. A luminous screen is reformed using thus reclaimed light abosrption screen without leakage of light because the peeling off of graphite film is entirely prevented.
