Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the maximum effect of vibration absorption for a sealed type compressor by electrically controlling a dynamic vibration absorber in association with load variations and electrical fluctuations. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 3 in a dynamic vibration absorber 2, which is caused to vibrate by a compressor, is subjected to repulsive force due to an interaction between an electromagnetic field of electromagnetic mechanisms 6a, 6b and a magnetic field of the oscillator itself, and is also subjected to repulsive force due to springs 4a, 4b, thereby the oscillator 3 is excited to vibrate. When the frequency of the oscillator 3 vibration cames to be equal to the resonant frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber 2, the oscillator 3 vibrates at the maximum amplitude, causing the dynamic vibration absorber 2 to absorb vibration energy from the compressor. Even when the vibration frequency as well as the revolution number of the compressor vary, the resonant frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber 2 is adjusted to the actual vibration number by changing electrical current through the electromagnetic mechanisms 6a, 6b by means of an external power source controlling circuit 20 so as to control repulsive force between both poles of the electromagnetic mechanisms 6a, 6b and the oscillator 3.
