Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a rear floor sheet compact and facilitate the processing of the sheet, by dividing the rear floor sheet into a front and a rear parts and providing vertical planes on the rear end of the front part and the front end of the rear part so that a structure of closed cross section is defined by both the vertical planes. CONSTITUTION:A rear floor 1 is composed of a front floor sheet 3 and a rear floor sheet 4 which are divided from each other. A spare tire housing recess 5 is integrally provided on the central section of the rear sheet 4. A vertical plane 6 is integrally provided on the rear sheet 4 so that the plane 6 extends perpendicularly upward from the bottom of the recess 5. A horizontal plane 7 is provided on the rear section of the front sheet 3. A vertical plane 8 is provided on the front sheet 3 so that the plane 8 extends perpendicularly downward from the rear edge of the horizontal plate 7. The rear section of the front sheet 3 is laid on the front section of the rear sheet 4, the vertical plane 6 is connected to the horizontal plane 7 and the vertical plane 8 is connected to the bottom of the recess 5 so that a structure 9 of closed cross section which extends in the direction of the width of a vehicle is defined integrally with the recess 5. Rear side frames 10 are provided on both the sides of the structure 9.
