Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce generation of noise by reducing the sharp pressure variation of the oil in a piston which is generated between an intake port and a discharge port in the both direction of normal and reverse rotation, in the pump in which a cylinder block slides on the surface of a valve plate.
CONSTITUTION: When a cylinder block rotates clockwise and passes through the upper dead center UDC, the oil in a cylinder bore is compressed preparatorily by a piston, and the pressure increases. At this time, the flow from a small opening port 13 to an end part 11a is prevented, and preparatory compression is permitted, and on the contrary, when the discharge pressure is higher than the preparatory pressure, oil flows-in gradually from the end part 11a through a throttle 15, promoting preparatory compression. When cylinder block passes through the lower dead center LDC, preparatory expansion begins. As the oil having higher pressure than the oil in an intake port 12 under low pressure is stored in the cylinder bore at this time, the oil flows into the intake port 12 through a check valve 20 and a throttle 19, but the proper pressure higher than the pressure in the intake port 12 is maintained by the throttling action, and preparatory expansion is performed.
