CONSTITUTION:Garbage is poured into a draining basket 5 for garbage storing and a press 8 is set on the draining basket 5. An electric power plug 25 is inserted into a plug socket to actuate an electric motor 14. Then, a driving screw 17 rotates to move a driving transmission 18 downward, and a piston 19 and a push plate 13 are also moved downward to compress the garbage 11 in the draining basket 5. Then, contained water is removed through a water permeable cover 6 for taking out garbage and a slit formed on the side wall of the draining basket 5. When a strain gauge 23 detects strain corresponding to set pressure, dewatering is completed, and the motor 14 is stopped through a controlling circuit. Then, the draining basket 5 is raised with the press 8 and held on a stand provided with a garbage bag through a disk 12 for support. By removing the cover 6 and starting the motor 14, dewatered garbage is contained in the garbage bag.
