Abstract
PURPOSE:To equip a broad-band terminal, whose sampling speed is increased N times as a substitute for a line circuit package, by assigning sampling pulses to line circuit package of an EPABX periodically. CONSTITUTION:An EPABX equipped with 32 circuits is provided with line circuit packages (PKG) #1, #3 and #4 of eight equipped circuits and a broad-band terminal interface PKG#2 equipped with four circuits to form 32 multiplicity transmitting and receiving highways HW(T) and HW(R). One sampling pulse phin is supplied to one telephone set of an extension telephone set SUB of the said constitution to perform the telephone exchange processing of 8kHz sampling. To the PKGs #1-#4, pulses phi1-phi32 are assigned with periodicity successively and a broad-band terminal DTE1, for example has the assigned pulses phi2 and phi18. From time slots on the highways, the relation between phit and phit+16 is obtained to achieve 16kHz processing. Thus, multiple-origination exchange processing of NX64kb/s is realized.
