CONSTITUTION:This detector is provided with a signal generation part (a), an antenna part (b) consisting of a transmission antenna 22a and a receiving antenna 22b, an antenna rotation driving part (c), a signal processing part (d) consisting of a detecting and amplifying circuit 24 of a receiving signal, a DC portion stopping circuit 25 and a BPF26 for stopping only a frequency component corresponding to 2 times of a rotary period of the antenna part, and a display part (e) having a receiver 28b and an indicator 27. In this way, it is possible to remove a signal portion which is generated in case when a vessel A for storing and fixing the antenna part (c) has come not to be parallel to the surface to be detected 40.
