Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of heat recovery of the heat recovery device used for heat recovering of the waste gas exhausted from a boiler and the like, by providing a heat recovering rotor variable in the rotation speed within a housing which is connected in the front surface with a high temperature waste gas exhaust pipe and in the back surface with a low temperature waste gas exhaust pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Within the housing 1 connected respectively in the front surface with the high temperature waste gas exhaust pipe 7 and in the back surface with the low temperature waste gas exhaust pipe 8, there is provided pivotably the heat recovering rotor 9 which is variable in the rotation speed. If any change occurs in the operation of the combustion device which cuases a change in the exhaust rate of the high temperature waste gas, the rotation speed of a speed change gear 18 with motor increases or decreases accordingly, so as to regulate the rotation speed of the rotor 9. In the recovery device A, if the rotor speed increases, the number of the contact of a filler 14 in the rotor 9 with the high temperature waste gas and cool air per unit time increases, thereby improving the heat recovery efficiency.
