During the time the stepping motor is driven by the quick advance driving pulse signal, the outputs of a normal driving pulse signal 3 and a compensation driving pulse signal 4 are inhibited. The pulse width of the normal driving pulse signal at the time of hand correction is reduced but is not broadened.
