Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a plurality of sheets, whose cut surfaces have ruggedness, e.g. wavy pattern simultaneously, by feeding a synthetic resin foaming at a body costant speed to a heat cutter periodically moving up and down. CONSTITUTION:A blocky synthetic resin foaming body is mounted on a moving table 50, and the table 50 is carried toward a heat cutter 20 by operation of a variable motor 40. A cam 30 cooperating with the variable motor 40 is rotated, so as to periodically move up and down a heat cutter 20 spanned between columns 10, 10' through a roller 13. The synthetic resin foaming block A fed to the heat cutter 20 at a fixed speed is heat-cut into a plurality of sheets whose cut surfaces have a wavy-pattern ruggedness. The shape of the cut surface of the sheet product can be freely changed, e.g. into a trapezoidal ruggedness, a triangular ruggedness or the like, by changing the profile of the cam 30.
