Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled substance, by polymerizing acrylamide monomer in a suspension of a yeast fungal body having the glycolytic activity, reacting the resultant immobilized yeast with an ATP precursor, a glycolytic substrate, Mg ions and a phosphoric acid donor.
CONSTITUTION: A yeast fungal body having the glycolytic activity is cultivated, collected and suspended in water. Acrylamide monomer is then polymerized in the resultant aqueous suspension in the presence of a crosslinking agent, a polymerization accelerator, etc. to give an immobilized yeast. The resultant immobilized yeast is then brought into contact with an aqueous solution containing an adenosine- 5'-triphosphate precursor, e.g. adenosine, AMP or ADP, a glycolytic substrate, magnesium ions, e.g. magnesium chloride, a phosphoric acid donor, e.g. a phosphate or a buffer solution thereof. The phosphoric acid donor in 0.05W1mol concentration is added to the reaction slution, and preferably a compound, e.g. L- cysteine or dithiothreitol, is present in the reaction solution.
