Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent misconnection and to decrease the distortion, by providing a protection circuit which detects the misconnection of a feedback circuit making positive-feedback from the input terminal of reverse phase of a load to a power amplifier, and providing a resistor by-passing the diode of an input section. CONSTITUTION:A power amplifier 11 is constituted as negative feedback through a negative feedback circuit 12 connected to an inverting input terminal. A speaker 14 is connected to a pair of positive and negative output terminals O, P of the power amplifier 11 via connection cords 131, 132. To prevent the effect of a distortion voltage caused due to the impedance of the connection cords, position feedback is given to the power amplifier 11 via a feedback cord from the reversing input terminal R of the speaker 14. A protection circuit 17 disconnecting the speaker through misconnection detection is provided for the cord 15, which is grounded via a resistor RS to prevent the distortion of internal resistance of diodes D1, D2 of the input section of the protection circuit 17.
