Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to use the heater at the heat capacity of the heater itself by controlling the water quantity in place of the control of the gas quantity to control the temperature of hot water to a predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: A water controlling part 3 is arranged between a water inlet 1 and a heat exchange part 4. The controlling part 3 comprises a high pressure chamber 8 and a low pressure chamber 9 partitioned by a diaphragm 7, a valve part 13 which opens and closes a water flow path from a water inlet 1 to the rear stage in linkage with the blocking member 12 of the diaphragm 7, a low-pressure conduit pipe 15 communicating the water inlet 1 with a chamber 9 and a low-pressure conduit pipe 16 communicating a water flow path 14 after the valve part 3 with the chamber 9. Further, there is provided an electromagnetic valve 21 provide with a temperature sensitive element (not shown) operated by the hot water emitting temperature. In the above described construction, when hot water having a temperature higher than the set temperature flows, a current passing through the temperature sensitive element is suppressed, the adsorptive force of the valve 21 is weakene, and the passage of the conduit pipe 15 is throttled. The inflow pressure into the chamber 9 is strongly affected by a pressure reduced after the valve part 13, and the blocking element 12 separates from the valve seat 4, and the quantity of the water stream becomes large. Therefore, if the combustion calory of the burner 22 is constant, the temperature of hot water is lowered.
