Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate a multitray even if there is no enough space below a copy paper outlet, by disposing paper feeding members for each tray in the front of the multitray capable of freely expanding and contracting vertically, the members being capable of freely projecting and retiring on the trays.
CONSTITUTION: A multitray is formed by superposing a plurality of trays one over another, and coupling the trays with a band in such a manner that each tray can be kept at vertical fixed intervals. The multitray is laid one over another below in front of a copy paper outlet 1a, and each tray 2 is sequentially pulled up at regular intervals. Paper feeding members (including a paper feeding arm 6 and a separating finger) are disposed at each position opposed to each end of the pulled trays 2. The paper feeding member is adapted to move above the tray 2 at time of paper feeding and feed out copy papers 10 piled on the tray 2 one by one from the top by means of a perforated adsorbing belt 11 to be laid one over another on a storing table 14 through a horizontal belt 13, and then one volume of copies is collated.
