Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize limited space within the cowling by positioning a fuel tank in a space behind the engine unit and extending it over the rear of the engine unit.
CONSTITUTION: An engine unit 20, including, as main components, an engine 20a and a flywheel magnet 20b united with a manual starter 20c, and fuel tank 30 are contained within a cowling 10a. The fuel tank 30 consists of a main tank 30a, a subsidiary rear tank 30b, swelling out from the rear bottom of the main tank 30a and hanging down over the rear of a cylinder head cover 25, and a subsidiary side tank 30c, swelling out from the right side bottom of the main tank and hanging down over the right hand rear of a cylinder body 23. The fuel tank is fixed to the engine unit by means of brackets 32, 34 provided at the bottom.
