Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in productivity owing to differences in operating speed of continuous rolling mills and a process treating installation in the rear processes thereof by linearly arranging both installations and providing plural pieces of reels and table installations between both installations. CONSTITUTION:A material which is fed from an inlet side coil conveyor 4 to an uncoiler 2 is uncoiled by the uncoiler 2, and is rolled by a continuous rolling stand 1. In the case of the material after the rolling with which it is better to anneal the same as early as possibile in terms of workability of the final product, it is advanced directly to a continuous annealing section by using a guide table 11, where it is welded by a welding machine 8, is treated in a heating and cooling section 6, is cut with an outlet side cutting shear 9 and is coiled by a coiler 10. In this case, the operation of the rolling mills is poor in productivity. If a waiting time until annealing is allowed with the material after the rolling, reels 7a, 7a are properly used for coiling for the rolling section and for uncoiling for the annealing section, whereby the increasing of the speed of the rolling mills is made possible.
