Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely rotate a disk without floating, by allowing a tapered pin to bite into a sectionally tapered opening hole made near the center hole of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A disk 1 has a center hole 2 and a sectionally tapered opening hole 3 near the center hole 2. As a device for rotating the disk 1, a holding member 4 which holds the center part of the disk is provided, and a spindle 5c to be inserted into the center hole 2 of the disk 1 and a pinlike member 6 to be fitted in the opening hole 3 of the disk are fitted to the holding member 4. The member 6 has the greatest diameter atop and is tapered in the same shape with or in a close shape to the opening hole 3. When the disk is rotated, the member 6 bites into the taper of the opening hole 3 to produce a force for pressing the disk 1 against the holding member 4 by components of its force, so that the disk 1 is prevented from flating even during high-speed rotation.
