Abstract
PURPOSE:To make efficient the assembly work by setting branch pipings of a pipe trass beam to its standing position for assembly and by carrying out transport and assembly while it is held in the position as it is. CONSTITUTION:In assembly of a pipe trass beam consisting of a main pipe 1 and branch pipes 2, 3, 4 coupled together, a hooking device held free to move vertcally by a trolley 30, which runs on a girter 8 of a gate type crane, is equipped with grasping devices 12, 16 to grasp the branch pipes 2, 3, 4 in the attitude in coincedence with the assembly position of these branch pipes or in an attitude similar to it. The branch pipes placed on a table 27 are stood at the grasp position of the grasping devices 12, 16 by a tilt support device 18 which can stand up freely to said attitude, and are transported to the place of assembly while being grasped as they are.
