Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the brightness of an anglog display for a compostie watch which gives a digital display putting a liquid crystal panel on the analog display, by using no polarizing plate of lower side. CONSTITUTION:An analog display is performed with a second hand 2, a minute hand 3 and an hour hand 4 which are attached to a watch body 1. A dial plate performes both a time scale display of the analog display and the function of a reflecting plate of a liquid crystal panel 7. The panel 7 performs the digital display and uses only an upper polarizing plate 7a for the polarizing plate.
