Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact reader suitable for mass-production, by fabricating a base on which the image forming system consisting of zone plates and an original stand on the same plate, and easiy setting the location between a sensor and an image forming system. CONSTITUTION:An upper surface of a transparent body 26 is taken as a stand for an original 27 and a lower surface is taken as a base for zone plate trains 281-283. Sensors 331-333 are provided for a base 34 and inserted with shield plates 311-314 to be opposed with the transparent body 26. The base 34 and the transparent body 26 are fixed with a spacer 30 and an adhesives 29. Thus, the alignment between the sensor trains 331-332 and the zone plate train 28 being the image forming system can be made easy and a reader which is compact and suitable for mass-production can be offered.
