Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the life of a discriminating section, by separating a specific type of note out of permitted paper notes, accommodating them to an incoming and outgoing money box as a part of outgoing paper notes, making the discriminating section in operative when the box is occupied and depositing the permitted notes in a bundle to the incoming box. CONSTITUTION:Paper notes deposited from the 1st and 2nd slits pass through a temporary pool section 6 and the 1st separation transmitting section 7, are discriminated for false notes accurately at a section 8, separated 9 and 10, and normal notes are piled in the 1st pile 4 and false notes are piled in the 2nd pile 5. The false notes are discriminated 8 again, separated 9 and 10 and front and back sides are arranged. When instruction of return is given, the notes are returned altogether from the slit depositing the notes in the piles 4 and 5. When instruction of incoming is given, if an incoming and outgoing money box 11 is occupied, the notes in the piles 4 and 5 pass through the 1st separation section 7, the section 8 is made inoperative, the 1st separation 9 is made and the notes are deposited to the box 14 altogether. Thus, the discrimination section 8 is made extended for the life and the device can be made small in size.
