Abstract

PURPOSE:An antimicrobial composition such as shampoo, etc. comprising an aqueous solution of bis (2-pyridyl-thio-1-oxide) zinc which is solubilized in water by using a specific amino acid and/or peptide and has more improved antimicrobial effect, as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:An antimicrobial agent composition comprising a transparent aqueous solution of bis (2-pyridylthio-1-oxide) zinc (zinc phyrithione) which is solubilized in water with one or more selected from the group consisting of glycine hydrochloride, L-alanine, L-serine, sodium L-glutamate, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid, L-glutamic acid hydrochloride, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-arginine hydrochloride, L-histidine hydrochloride, L-proline, L-hydroxyproline, Casamino acid, hydrochloride of collagen hydrolyzate, and peptone as an active ingredient.
