Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically take a desired number of copies of every original, by inserting copy quantity indication cards in a group of originals at adequate positions.
CONSTITUTION: A group of originals 2 is mounted on an original feeding table 40 and while a copy quantity indication card 1a is placed at the uppermost part of the group, indication cards 1b and 1c are inserted in the group at adequate positions. In the stage where the indication card 1a is sent to an original placing table 3, data on an indicated quantity given to the card 1a is read and stored. Then, the original group 2a sent to the original placing table 3 successively is copied up to the indicated quantity. After this copying, the next indication card 1b is conveyed to set an indicated quantity of copies similarly, and originals sent successively are copied respectively. This operation is repeated in sequence to automatically take desired numbers of copies.
