Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat radiation properties of a heat-accumulating material, by using hydroxyethylcellulose as a peptizer. CONSTITUTION:Hydroxyethylcellulose is added to a heat-accumulating material obtained by adding a thixotropic thickener such as attachpulgite, bentonite, diatom earth or the like to an aqueous solution of Na2SO4.10H2O-4Na2B4O7. 10H2O or CaCl2.6H2O-Ba(OH)2. Here, the effect of hydroxyethylcellulose as a peptizer is verified by the fact that the heat radiation properties of the heat- accumulating material thus obtained are not changed with proceeding of a fusion/solidification cycle.
