Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a film-forming polymer, hydroxyalkyl cellulose, and water, and suitable as cosmetic pack, various cleaners, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding 5- 30pts.wt. of a film-forming polymer e.g. PVA, vinyl acetate-maleic anhydride copolymer, etc., 0.5-10pts. of a hydroxyalkyl cellulose, preferably hydroxypropyl cellulose, 50-150pts. of water, and if necessary, 0.1-5pts. of a sucrose fatty acid ester and 10-50pts. of a lower alcohol. It can be used as a cosmetic pack free of skin irritation, and as a kitchen cleaner having excellent releasability and stain-removing property.
