Abstract

PURPOSE:To deliver the correct cassette mount signal, by installing two pieces of contacts to be used for detecting location of cassette between a cassette case which can loading and eject a cassette fitted to a cassette freely turnably and the cassette holder; CONSTITUTION:A cassette case 4 is supported freely turnable in the vertical direction by means of a shaft near the center of a cassette holder 3, and, when a cassette 1 is inserted into the case 4 and the cassette 1 is pushed downward, a projection 9 is engaged with a lock lever 10 and a switch SW1 is turned on. At the same time, an electric terminal 2 of the cassette and an electric terminal 5 of the cassette holder are also turned on. When the lock lever 10 is released, the electric terminals 2 and 5 are turned off and, at the same time, a switch SW2 is turned on. By operating the contact and separation among the switches SW1 and SW2 and terminals 2 and 5 with two pieces of NOR circuits and one piece of FF circuit after they are inputted into the circuits, a cassette mount signal and a casset eject sigal are formed. Therefore, occurrences of false signals for the cassette mount signal caused by the vibration at the time of inserting cassette are prevented, and malfunction of writing and reading of cassette tapes is also prevented.
