Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a recording carrier which is excellent in its workability and mass productivity by constituting so that a disk composition consisting of vinyl chloride resin and carbon black contains specific weight % of low molecular weight polyolefin wax containing a calboxyl radical. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive disk type recording carrier which is molded a disk composition consisting of vinyl chloride resin and carbon black is made to contain 0.2-1.5wt% low molecular weight polyolefin wax containing a calboxyl radical, as an internal lubricant. As for a vinyl chloride resin component, a vinyl chloride homopolymer, a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, and a copolymer of vinyl chloride and ethylene, etc. are available singly or by use of 2 kind or more together, and that which has about 400-500 molecular weight is desirable from the viewpoint of workability and the thermal characteristic side. As for carbon black particles, those which are excellent in its conductivity and ispersion property are desirable, and it is desirable that 10-30wt.pts. are added to 100wt.pts. disk composition. In this way, a product which is excellent in its workability and mass productivity is obtained.
