Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to obtain the desired air-conditioned state by a method wherein a rack member is made slidable toward the direction of the axis of a controlling cable by forming the rack member in a straight form. CONSTITUTION:The rack member 19, on the upper surface of which straight teeth 35 are cut and as well as at the stopping side of which indended surface 38 for abutting the embossed part 37 of a leaf spring 36 is provided, engages with a driving gear 18 and at the same time slides within a guide wall 20. Furthermore, projections (not shown) are provided at the lower and upper parts of the rack member 19 and as well as flat parts 41 are also provided at both the axial end parts of the rack member 19.
