Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically select a transmission line (side-band wave) having the least error in accordance with the receiving condition, by transmitting radio transmitting data through plural routes (e.g. upper side-wave and lower side- wave) and with an error check code. CONSTITUTION:Transmitting data are transmitted through a transmitter 13 and an antenna 14 after an error check code is added to the data at a circuit 11 and the data are modulated at a modulator 12. On the other hand, said transmitted radio wave is received by an antenna 15 and introduced into a demodulator 17 through a receiver 16 at the receiving side. Then, to the output of the demodulator 17, reception demodulate signals from four transmission systems of the upper and lower side-waves fc1u and fc1d of the 1st carrier fc1 and the upper and lower side-waves fc2u and fc2d of the 2nd carrier fc2 to be added to the modulator 12 are added. These demodulate signals are counted for corrected frequency by error correcting circuits 19, 18, 20, and 21, respectively, and said counted frequency is stored in a memory 22. A selecting circuit 23 selects a side- band wave having the least error occurrence based on the information from the memory 22.
