Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling characteristics of the ebullition type cooling device by positively utilizing the current of a refrigerant liquid induced by rising bubbles. CONSTITUTION:In the boiling and cooling device in which a heating element 1 is immersed in the refrigerant liquid 2 encased into a vessel 3, a duct 6 formed into the heating element 1 so that the bubbles 4 of the refrigerant liquid 2 generated by the heat of the heating element 1 are upward blown up, a current plate 7 mounted so that the refrigerant liquid 2 is circulated in a flow path 8 contacting with the inner wall sruface of the vessel 3 by driving force generated by the upward blow-up of the bubbles 4, and a nozzle 9 set up onto the duct 6 of the heating element 1 so as to throttle upward jets, which are generated by the upward blow-up of the bubbles 4 and in which the refrigerant liquid 2 and the bubbles 4 are mixed are mounted. The upward jets are forcibly blown up to the upper section 5 of the vessel 3 by throttling action by the nozzle 9.
