CONSTITUTION:Since a switch 71 remain ON when an accelerator pedal is not depressed, the output of a comparator 72 is maintained at a low level. Thus, a contact 72a is maintained OFF, and a current command value is maintained at a value of an economic operation. When the pedal is then depressed, the switch 71 is shifted to OFF, so that the plus side input of the comparator 72 gradually becomes high. When the prescribed period of time then elapses, the output of the comparator 72 varies to high level, a transistor 73 is thus conducted ON, and a relay coil 75A is energized. In this manner, a contact 75a becomes ON, and the current command value increases stepwisely to a value for a power operation.
