Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent reckless operation of a control system, by a method wherein, after detecting that a setting of a heating data is completed, a heating sequence is caused to advance. CONSTITUTION:With a key 4 depressed, a microcomputer 14 decodes it to set a given heating mode. Then, the set heating mode is displayed in a display tube 8 and 0 disappears to bring all numerals units into a blank state. With this, the microcomputer 14 waits for turning of a volume 16. Immediately after the volume 16 is turned, an internal timer is reset, a count-up starts, and a heating time, set in the display tube 18, is displayed. After an internal timer counts a given time, the time expires. If the volume knob is turned again during said period, it is decided that a setting of a heating time is not completed yet, and the timer is reset again to count a given time again. After a given time has elapsed, the microcomputer 14 outputs a given voice select signal to a synthetizer 19 to inform of completion of a setting through a speaker 21.
