Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the production of an offensive smell and noxious gas, by a method wherein a heater is energized at a fire-extinguishing time of a combution device to burn unburnt gas. CONSTITUTION:A lever 4 is released from holding at a fire-extinguishing time, and a wick 33 is lowered to extinguish a fire. Then, an operating switch 29 is switched from a-c to a-b, and thereby an ignition heater 26 is energized through a temperature switch 26, which is brought to ON, and contacts d-e of a switching contact 37a for a relay 37 to burn unburnt gas produced at a fire-extinguishing time. When temperature of a burning part falls and the temperature switch 26 is brought to OFF, energization of the ignition heater 25 stops.
