Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a conductor for field winding without brazing with continuous cooling fins by forming a wide strip conductor with convexes and concaves widthwise and dividing it in halves. CONSTITUTION:The strip shaped conductor 10 having a total width of a wide conductor 1a and a narrow conductor 1b plus cutting allowance is torn into halves to makes a conductor E and a conductor F at a dotted chain line D. The torn sides of conductors E and F are directed outside. A field winding 1 is made by bending edgewise and winding continuously. Thus a conductor for a field winding without the necessity for brazing and with continuous cooling fins can be obtained.
