Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a corrosive material from invading and to eliminate a defect that a lining base metal falls owing to its corrosion, by soldering a mating face in the vicinity of a lining layer of a twine cylinder cum lining for a resin processing machine. CONSTITUTION:A lining layer 2 is formed in an inner diameter part of a cylinder material 1. Then, a cylinder material cum lining layer 3 is divided vertically along the plane which runs parallel with a center axis of a cylinder material cum lining layer 3 into two parts 4 and 5, and a groove 4a in an axial direction is provided on a vertically divided face of the larger arc side part 4. Solder is applied to a more inner circumferential part 4b than the inner groove 4a of the vertically divided face of the larger arc side part 4, two pieces of the vertically divided faces of the larger arc side parts 4 are put together and soldered in a furnace. Then, a more outer circumferential parts 4c than the inner groove 4a of the vertically divided faces of the larger arc side parts 4 are joined together by electron beam welding or laser beam welding. Then, a twin cylinder 6 is completed by machining an external shape of a joined twin cylinder to the desired shape.
