Abstract
PURPOSE: A fungicide for agricultural and horticultural purposes that is made by adding a specific glycidyl compound to a mixture of an organophosphorus compound and a urea or thiourea as active ingredients, thus permitting stable storage for a long period of time, even after prepared.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicide for agricultural and horticultural purposes is prepared by adding 0.5W3wt%, based on the resultant composition, of a compound of formula II (R1 is H, methyl; n is 1W9 integer), formula III (R2 is allyl, alkyl, phenyl), formula IV (R3, R4 are H, alkyl) or formula V (R5 is H, methyl; l+m is 0W18) to a mixture of an organophosphorus compound such as O-ethyl-S, S- diphenyl dithiophosphate and a compound of formulaI(R is alkyl; X is halogen, nitro, alkyl; Y is O, S). The addition of a compound of formula II through V inhibits the promotion of mutual decomposition between the above active ingredients and enables the long-term storage.
