Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a pipe joint whose power for preventing disengagement is great and whose strength for supporting pipes is great, by forming an upright flange on a rigid vinyl chloride short pipe end, and forming a connecting pipe of FRP on it to be connected with the support pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A rubber annular mold 15 is fit on a cylindrical core mold 14, and the support tube 6 of FRP is formed on it. After the curing, the cylindrical core mold 14 and the rubber annular mold 15 are removed, and then an annular packing 10 and the vinyl short pipe 7 with the flange 8 are inserted. Then a cylindrical core mold 17, a rubber annular mold 18 and a mold 18a having a conical surface are fit, and the connecting pipe 11 of FRP is formed thereon. After the curing, the cylindrical core mold 17, the rubber annular mold 18 and the mold 18a are removed to obtain the pipe joint.
