Abstract
PURPOSE:To monitor the slackness of the winding at all times, and to prevent an accident by mounting a strain gage to an elastic body curved, inserting the gage between the winding under a condition that the elastic body is flattened and detecting the change of the resistance value of the strain gage. CONSTITUTION:The strain gage 12 is set up onto the elastic body 11 curved such as a spring, and a detector 10 is formed. The detector 10 is inserted between the winding 4, 7 under a condition that the elastic body 11 is flattened, and the change of the resistance value of the strain gage 12 is detected. Accordingly, when slackness is generated in the winding, the resistance value of the strain gage also changes periodically because a flat condition and a curved condition are repeated in the elastic body 11 and the elastic body is vibrated, and slackness can be discovered early.
