Abstract
PURPOSE:To elongate the creeping distance between input and output by a device wherin an insulative board having a through hole is provided in light- permiable resin which serves to connect a light emitting element and a light receiving element for a photo coupling semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving element 14 is mounted on one lead frame 12, while a light emitting element 22 is mounted on the other lead frame 23. Both light receiving and emitting elements are faced to constitute a photo coupling device. An insulative board 21 having a through hole is inserted between both lead frames, and these members are connected with each other with light-permeable resins 19 and 24. By so doing, it becomes possible to remarkably enlarge a creeping distance only while keeping a distance between input and output as it was.
