Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the ground stain of a copy without deteriorating the developing power of a developer by ading a silane coupling agent to the developer. CONSTITUTION:To a developer used in a semidry system is added a silane coupling agent by 5-30wt% to the amount of the developer. The coupling agent includes gamma-chrloropropyltrimethoxysilane, vinyltrichlorosilane, vinyltriethoxysilane, vinyl- tris(beta-methoxyethoxy)silane, gamma-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, beta-(3,4-epoxycyclohexane)ethyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and N-beta-aminoethyl-gamma-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane.
